PGSE-CPMG Sequence

Hey Resonint Team,

Do you happen to have a PGSE-CPMG sequence that you can share for combined diffusion and T2 (no imaging)?

Cheers,
Aaron

Hi Aaron,

I have added a PGSE-CPMG pulse sequence file and a D-T2 PGSE-CPMG experiment python notebook to the relaxometry folder in our ilumr-resources Github repository!

You will also need the Gradient Calibration notebook from the utilities folder to calibrate your gradients for accurate b-values.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Hi Sharon,

Thank you very much for sharing these + the other resources. This is really helpful I did have a go at making my own (first foray into pulse sequence programming for 14 years!) which was very enjoyable. What I ended up doing was setting up a virtual environment with the sequence plotter installed, and then created the pulse sequence in there. A couple of comments:

  1. The API documentation could do with some improvement to make it clearer about how to use it.
  2. It would be great to be able to pip install the sequence plotter + standalone matipo libraries, as then an IDE (such as VS code) will be able to take advantage of type hints, etc. During development most of the issues I encountered could have been addressed this way.

Cheers,
Aaron

Hi Aaron,

So exciting to hear that you’re getting back into pulse sequence programming!

Thank you so much for your useful comments. It’s great to hear about how we can improve things.
